On May 7, 2025, after 60 years, 10 months, and 14 days of marriage, Linde peacefully left us.
On May 21, 2025, we gathered to celebrate this extraordinary woman: a wife, a mom, an Oma, a friend… our beloved Gislinde Maria Holdsworth.
Linde was married to me, David Richard Holdsworth, Colonel, US, Army, retired for 60 years, 10 months, and 14 days at the time of her death on May 7th, 2025.

For brevity in providing this information in Linde’s “Celebration of Life” on 21 May 2025, this is posted for access by QR code to a just-developed website, as a work in progress. It is generally organized around the various assignments in Dave’s military career up through to his retirement in 1992, and including work as a fulltime instructor of Management Science at Alaska Pacific University, subsequent work as a military contractor for the two major unified commands at MacDill Air Force base, and then final-final retirement in Florida (in Tampa and then in Orange Park).
Other details from Dave’s perspective will appear on the website after Dave’s demise at some undetermined future date. The QR Code will also be attached to the grave site, for anyone visiting the cemetery.
